FAMES® | Finance, Arts, and STEM: FAMES® stem-after-school program ‘Launched Among the Stars’ at @BGCGW #14 using NASA GSFC SOLC program – Mission Operations module: FAMES invited NASA engineer Mr. Jeff Jones to serve as a role model. Jeff, an Aeronautical Engineer has served as a mission control officer at NASA’s Johnson Space Center for both the ISS and Space Shuttle program. He also led concept development for missions and worked at NASA GSFC and Kennedy Space Center. After Jeff’s presentation, the students appreciated how space missions answer science questions that affect our lives at the Earth. They also learned about STEM career paths.
